BMW USA Announces Management Team Changes

The Management Team of BMW North America is undergoing a series of important changes due to the retirement of Gene Donnelly, Southern Region Vice President.

After more than 40 years of experience in the automotive field, Gene will retire in September after holding significant management roles at regional and national level. Since May 2009 Donnelly has been Vice President, Southern Region, responsible for all sales, marketing, aftersales and dealer development in the 11 state region.

The current VP of the Eastern Region, Russ Lucas will take over in the Souther Region, relieving Donnelly of his duties. He will be responsible for sales of BMW and MINI vehicles in the 11 states and the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, comprising 90 BMW dealers and 34 MINI dealers.

As for the Eastern Region, Dan Creed, currently VP of Marketing at BMW will succeed Lucas. In assuming the new position, Creed will be responsible for all sales, marketing, aftersales and dealer development in the 12 state Eastern Region which includes the New York metro area.
