BMW UK Launches R 1200 GS and Adventure Promotion

The British division of BMW Motorrad announced today it is offering complimentary panniers with any BMW R 1200 GS and Adventure purchased for a limited time only. The offer covers both the standard R 1200 GS and R 1200 GS Adventure machines as well as the special-edition R 1200 GS Triple Black.

Specifically, R 1200 GS buyers being offered a set of lightweight, expandable Vario Panniers worth £541 incl. VAT, whilst new GS Adventure owners will receive rugged, hand-made Aluminium Panniers worth £672 incl. VAT.((The Vario Panniers can expand from 50-litre capacity to 68 when extra room is needed. When the trip is over and the luggage is back at home, the width of both panniers can be reduced by 120mm.

The Aluminium Panniers, offered with the GS Adventure have a total of 82 litres of storage. These impressive panniers are strong enough to be used as a seat when you’re away from civilisation and are fully waterproof. They also feature stainless-steel lashing eyelets, allowing lighter items to be secured to the top.

In addition, pannier fastenings for the Adventure are available separately from BMW Motorrad dealerships.
