BMW TRON Concept Is a True CrossBreed

The automotive industry keeps inventing new niches and crossing breeds. The days when the customers only had well-delimited classes to choose from are long gone. If you’re in the market for a new car today, you will be assaulted with a multitude of offers that try to combine the best of many worlds.

One of the companies that is making efforts to accelerate this trend is BMW, which has left behind its traditional approach, offering vehicles like the 5 Series GT (if you want to know more about this car, you can read a review created by autoevolution by following this link).

As usual, we’re huge fans of the “no limits” philosophy, so we wondered what would happen if thing were taken even further. What if BMW would go much deeper into the crossbreed woods and release an out-of-this-world vehicle?

Of course, we had to get an idea of how such a creation would look, so we started browsing the web in a quest to find a proper virtual niche BMW.

This is one of the creations that really impressed us: the BMW TRON. We are talking about a vehicle that measures 4.5 m (177.1 inches) in length, 1.9 meters (74.8 inches) in width and is 1.4 m (55.1 inches) tall. We have to thank Emre Husmen, a Turkish automotive designer for bringing it to life.

We know that building such a vehicle would be a risky move for BMW, but since this hasn’t stopped the company before, it doesn’t seem such a wild idea.
