Over the years it has become tradition for BMW to showcase its latest emergency vehicles at the annual RETTmobil expo, the leading European trade fair for emergency services and mobility.

Last year
we got to see a BMW X6 M50d turned into a racetrack medical car, a BMW X3 fire brigade SUV and first response X1 alongside a 3 Series Touring and another X3 that posed as emergency medical services vehicles.

This year we’re in for a real treat. BMW just announced its line-up and it’s extremely interesting, to say the least. Amongst the exhibits you’ll find a BMW M235i paramedic vehicle.

While, at first, you might think that the 2er is in no way capable of doing such a job, the job the Bavarians did on the Coupe might surprise you. The thing that makes this the perfect car for this purpose is the way you can squeeze it through tight traffic and reach high speeds in no time, therefore reducing the time required to reach an accident site.

Other cars on display will be the new BMW F15 X5 xDrive30d and LCI xDrive20d X3 paramedic vehicles, a BMW X1 xDrive20 fire command vehicle, a BMW 325d Gran Turismo covert emergency vehicle and a BMW R1200RT motorcyle.
