While Hyundai and Kia tumble because of false claims of fuel economy, BMW is getting ready to make its own. Starting with the first half of 2013 and ending with the first half of 2014, the Germans will introduce no less than six diesel powered models to the North American market.
This supposedly leaked presentation slide shows the first diesel to come will be the F30 3-Series sedan followed by the F31 3-Series diesel Sport Wagon coming in the second half of 2013. Next up will be the 5-Series diesel in the 3rd quarter 2013. This oil-burning 5er will likely come with the facelift look.

Towards the very end of next year, a diesel SUV in the form of the X5d will arrive. The rumored 7-Series diesel that started this US diesel rumors will come in the first half of 2014. Lastly, the X3 will get an oil burner, also in 2014.

The tri-turbo straight-six will not be offered due to emissions regulations. Instead, expect 240 or 300 hp incarnations of the 3-liter turbo.

He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
