With the current new models and the continuos expansion BMW is currently undergoing, their UK plants will be seeing around 1,000 new openings in the next 2 years, according to a recent report.
With plants in Oxford (where the new MINI is being built), Swindon, Hams Hall and West Sussex and Goodwood (where Rolls-Royce Motor Cars is set up) the new jobs were bound to show up at one point or another.

According to Inautonews.com the first recruiting phase will start around New Year 2014 to cover about 700 people, with the ones that are currently on temporary contracts being given priority. The remaining 300 jobs will be opened up until the end of 2016.

These are encouraging signs for the British car industry as the UK car output grew 17 percent in November compared to the same month of 2012, causing analysts to claim that the industry is on the rise again on the island.

An important part of this rise was the MINI production and its sales that remained constant and even posted impressive growth on some markets, breaking long-standing records.
