After the DTM made its debut in Russia, on the Moscow track, it's time to go back, this weekend, to more familiar plains. Sunday, August 18th, the 8 BMW Drivers will set off on the Nurburgring, hoping for another win.
Last season, Bruno Spengler managed to secure a win on the Ring, with Martin Tomczyk joining him on the podium, finishing third, a great gift for BMW's M division that celebrated its 40th anniversary last year.

The race will take place on the specially crafted 3.629 km track around the Green Hell, a track that was part of the DTM since 1984. Finishing the race requires 49 laps of tight chicanes and quick sections.

At the moment, Bruno is the best placed BMW driver, being second in the driver's championship with 67 points, close to the current leader, Mike Rockenfeller from Audi. Out of the 8 BMW drivers, 5 are in the top ten at the moment.
