Some time ago, a little kid named Eli posted, with the help of his uncle, some specs that his ideal car would have, and what it would look like. These ideas were made public with the help of his loving uncle, on Jalopnik.com.
BMW, being a brand that takes care of even the youngest fan, decided to make this kid's dream come true. They took some time, and with the help of some photoshop craftsmanship put together something that resembles a car.
Eli's requests were pretty exact for a 4-year old, to say the least. First of all, the car had to be a BMW.
It has 42 wheels and 42 wheel drive. It is powered by 19 engines, each of them producing 459 HP and so, the car would have to have 19 axles. They would all be linked to a single transmission.
Power output will be distributed via limited slip differentials... lots of them. When it comes to the interior, there would be 3 seats, and all of them have steering wheels so that all 3 occupants could drive at the same time. Finally, but most importantly, the car would have to have a big trunk full of toys that you could play in. There was even a name for this car.
Given the fact that they stated from the beginning that it is a BMW, the car's name would be '4219ELi' (42 wheels, 19 engines, extra long wheelbase and fuel injection)
Not long after the post was made, BMW released a rendering on its Facebook page of what this car might look like, and we have to admit it's pretty awesome. Congrats BMW, you might have just found the recipe for ultimate success: a kid's imagination.
