In order to celebrate its fans and their passion for cars wearing the blue and white roundel on the bonnet, BMW decided to put together some videos showcasing their stories.
In their latest such video, they sat down with none other than Chris Wilett. If you're a BMW enthusiasts from around Las Vegas, it's rather impossible to not have heard of him. He's very well known around BMW Fan Clubs (and not only) as a great overall guy and the one that can help you out if you want to restore your older Bimmer.
After spending around 20 years in the corporate game, he decided its was time for a change of pace and attitude. Wanting to leave that world behind and do more of what made him happy, a discussion with a friend of his triggered a reaction that led to the building of a new shop.
Today he is the proud owner of a business that deals only with items that he's absolutely in love with. As a matter of fact, some of his customers are even stunned at times of how much love he shows for their cars, even though they are not his. "You love my car more than I do!" a lot of them say and that's definitely true as you can tell by the look in Chris' eyes.
His best creation, according to his own words, is a BMW E30 325i Convertible that you can see in the video below. Since he couldn't get a proper M3 Convertible of the same generation in the US, he decided to build his own, and we have to admit it looks... brilliant!
