A little over a year separates us from watching a new episode in the Star Wars saga but the world is already boiling in anticipation. Don’t think for a second though, that we’re referring only to the fans of the series. No, everyone is catching the fever these days, including the automotive segment.
The guys from Vilner have been working on what they call the BMW Stormtrooper, a car that is supposed to resemble the machines used in the movie. Dressed in all black and white on the outside (just like the Stormtroopers were) it has the potential of becoming an overnight hit.

Of course, some of the details on it don’t please us but hey, they had to run with some pretty wild ideas to get the car to look like that. As a base model they went for the E64 6 Series Convertible and added a set of Infiniti headlights, new black and white rims and a new front bumper as far as we can tell from the teaser they just released.

However, a surprising move was done on the inside where they dropped the whole black and white theme and went for brown leather all around, including the dash and center column. While it does look rather classy, it doesn’t seem to fit within the Star Wars universe. We would’ve rather stuck to the black and white theme and decorate the interior with black Alcantara and Nappa leather.

For now, all we have are three photos that have been heavily edited before release but we’re hoping to have all the details pretty soon. We’ll keep you posted!
