It looks like BMW really wants to launch a proper driver’s car in the shape of the new M3 and M4 models and they are still testing the new cars on the Nurburgring, just weeks before going on sale.
In a recent spy video posted on Youtube (filmed on 03.27.2014), three new M3 Sedans are seen testing on the Ring, probably looking for the best setup or gathering more data onboard while being pushed to the absolute limit.

While we have seen the cars testing on the Green Hell before, we found this video quite enjoyable still, especially since you can clearly hear the S55 inline 6-cylinder engine revving hard. And what a beautiful symphony it is.

Sure, we’re all going to miss the old S65 V8 but this baby is not a bad replacement, especially since it makes both more power and more torque than its predecessor, 431 HP and 550 Nm (406 lb-ft) of torque, in case you somehow forgot.

Couple that new engine with all the new tech infused in these models and you get a brilliant package altogether that has a completely new electric steering, weighs less than expected and has a starting price of just $62,000 in the US. Quite tempting...
