Turkey is one of the world's nations that really loves BMWs and there one particular industrial design student that took the time to create a unique project, inspired by the 6 Series Gran Coupe.
His creation is called BMW Sportback Concept and takes two door down from the Gran Coupe returning to the old-fashioned, original Coupe concept. With a forward thinking design and trademark Bavarian design cues, this is actually a good looking car.
Sure, the name is wrong, as the "Sportback" nomenclature belongs to Audi and the headlights don't have the usual Corona Rings on them but other than that you'll find it easy to call it a Bimmer.
The front fascia has the traditional kidney grilles right in the middle and the lower part of the front bumper resembles recent design trends, like the one on the F15 X5 M50d.
Round the back, the Gran Coupe looks are even more obvious but do show subtle changes. Even the Hofmeister kink is present at the C-Pillar, in good-old fashioned BMW style.
