BMW Sportback Concept Imagined by Ismet Cevik

If reading the title of this article got you confused, you're not the only one. Ismet Cevik created a rendering of a car he calls BMW Sportback Concept. We know, the 'BMW' and 'Sportback' terms shouldn't be in the same sentence but bear with us.

It seems like the car he designed will have 4 doors, a tailgate and a coupe shape. At least that's what we think, judging from its name that is usually used by Audi. That would place this car somewhere in the 6 Series Gran Coupe range.

The rendering is quite good, showing traditional BMW features and some innovative stuff too. The front is dominated by a kidney grille with the new, double spoke design that further reminds us of the 6 Series.

The air intakes on the front bumper are big and resemble the ones on the X6 M, whilst the character lines down the bonnet are aggressive in BMW's purist style. The headlights go a bit far from the Corona Rings we're used too but they look ok.

At the moment, this is the only photo we have of his proposed project, called a preview by Ismet himself. We're quite interested in seeing the follow-up to this preview and we're hoping we won't be disappointed.
