It's no surprise seeing BMW's Cruise Bike occupying the central position in the 2016 range. By far the most popular model BMW made recently, the Cruise Bike will be available this year in two color options, Mineral White and Aqua Pearl Blue.

Meeting the customers' requirements, BMW added a third frame size to the portfolio, so now the Bavarian bicycles can be had in sizes S, M and L. The smallest frame suits riders with a height between 160 and 175 cm (5'3" - 5'9"), whereas the M version will accommodate body sizes between 175 and 185 cm (5'9" - 6'1"). Finally, the L model was created for riders between 185 and 195 cm (6'1" - 6'5").

All three frames are made from lightweight aluminum and offer just about the right degree of flexibility to make city rides feel confident and comfy. The BMW Cruise Bike will retail for €995 ($1,085).

BMW has not overlooked the youngest of riders, so the Cruise Bike Junior is also part of the 2016 range. This robust bike comes with a frame painted in matte black or shiny white, with red saddle and handlebar details. Thanks to the adjustable seat, the bike will "grow" with your kid and it will not be too soon that you need to get a bigger one. The BMW Cruise Bike Junior is a €450 ($490) affair.

The BMW Cruise M and Cruise e-Bike pedelec play in another league

BMW also delivers the Cruise M bicycle, a two-wheeler designed to emanate sportiveness while being suitable for tackling the trails. Cruise M arrives in matte black with contrasting red accents and carbon fiber parts.

The BMW Cruise e-Bike pedelec is also present on the list, with a Frozen Brilliant White Metallic livery and contrasting black elements. The mid-mounted Bosch Performance-Line motor is fed by a 400 Wh battery and provides various degrees of pedal assistance.

The top speed of the electric pedaling assistant is 25 km/h (15.5 mph), and the system has a smart algorithm to identify the optimal power delivery, while the onboard computer calculates and displays shifting recommendations. The Cruise M and Cruise e-Bike retail for €1,200 ($1,310) and €3,100 ($3,380), respectively.
