BMW Shows Real Life 2012 650i Coupe M Sport

We’re recently caught glimpses of the new 6-Series Gran Coupe sporting BMW’s latest M Sport package, so our appetite for factory customization has been wet.

So naturally, we jumped at the chance to see the coupe version of the car sporting the baby kit in combination with the biggest engine currently available - the V8 650i that offers BMW TwinPower Turbo technology with two turbochargers and high-precision direct injection for a grand total of 407 horsepower at 5,500 to 6,400 rpm.

The optional M Sport kit brings extra aerodynamics component with bespoke front and rear bumpers. There are a lot of the new M6’s flowing muscular lines making their way onto the 650i, and we have to admit that we are impressed with the end result. The car you see in the video sits on 19-inch M light-alloy wheels in double-spoke design, a must-have if you ask us.

Buyers will also have access to the firm’s Individual range, which includes bespoke paint finishes, light-alloy wheels and numerous other options.

Inside, the M Sport package brings sports seats with Alcantara/leather upholstery and an M leather steering wheel. The most impressive feature available is that little head-up display that brings info on the speed you are doing as well as the limit at which you can travel on the road you are on.

The carmaker has also recently announced that the 650i Coupe and Convertible models powered by the 407HP turbocharged V8 will be available with BMW’s xDrive all-wheel drive system. The GT game is changing folks, and we see a lot of chrome and LEDs on the horizon!
