Denver is one of the snowiest cities in America and the perfect location for BMW to showcase the practical benefits of its xDrive System. That's why from Friday, March 22nd through Sunday, March 24th from 8:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M. BMW decided to offer interested customers the chance to experience the 4-wheel drive system.
Driving in Denver can prove to be challenging, especially since the average snowfall each year is around 53 inches (1.53 meters). The xDrive amateurs will be given the chance to choose from a line-up that includes the 3 Series, 5 Series, 6 Series Gran Coupe and 7 Series.
The experience will have 2 parts: part 1 will be a 15 minute drive on a predetermined course around town whilst the second part will consist of two laps around a coned course on the ground of the Pepsi Center in Denver.
This way BMW hopes to raise awareness on the advantages of the BMW all-wheel drive system, especially in a snowy town like Denver. The xDrive system is available as an option on the 3 Series, 5 Series, 6 Series, 7 Series and the X1 Sports Activity Vehicle and comes standard on the BMW X3, X5 and X6 SAVs.
