BMW S1000RR Trashed Again in Photoshooting

What is wrong with BMW Motorrad’s marketing department? After the previous shooting with that inexplicable presence of a helicopter and a model that clearly had nothing to do with the motorcycle, they went to the same photographer for another photo session of the BMW S 1000 RR. A model and a pair of wild animals,  hellforleathermagazine.com reported.

The same soft focus that fails to show off the motorcycle, the same bad styling that says nothing about it, all shots taken from approximately the same angle with the bike on its side stand... repeated again.

Only this time, the genius (not!) photographer, Markus Hoffman had another vision. He used a pair of cheetahs and the scariest model we’ve ever seen. When combining the three favorite areas of his work (fashion, nature and technology), Markus only thought of himself.

“I found the comparison very obvious because both the cheetah and the BMW S 1000 RR exude speed, elegance, beauty and, of curse, the desire to race - the cheetah hunts for its daily feed just as the S 1000 RR will be hunting for a good ranking in the 2009 Superbike World Championship,” said Markus.

Well, the idea was not bad, no doubt about that. And photos look really nice. But if you ask us, the girl had nothing to do with the picture, and he should have focused more on the motorcycle. Several angles, on the race track near running cheetahs would have been a wiser choice.

Instead, all we see are two lazy wild animals, lying down next to a bike and a half-naked woman and she looks scarier. Take a look at some pictures from the photo shooting and if you see anything relevant for the BMW S1000 RR’s performances, let us know.
