BMW's Level 10 Gaming Tower Concept Detailed

Displayed last week at the CeBIT, the high-end gaming tower prototype released by BMW Group DesignworksUSA quickly gained everyone's attention. For those of you who missed the news, the gaming case, codenamed "Level 10", is a design concept aimed at "transforming visions into reality", as the German manufacturer mentioned in a press statement. The appealing design provides excellent cooling, interchangeability and transportability, it added.

"The asymmetric arrangement of the robust vertical heatsink and the horizontally located individual components creates a strong architectural statement, clearly revealing the powerful cooling characteristics of the Thermaltake Gaming Tower."

The case provides two ergonomically integrated handles that allow the user to transport it quick and easy, without having to uninstall the hardware components. In case you were wondering, the connectivity cables are installed within the case, being covered by a lighting system that provides an eye-catching effect while turned on.

The cable conduit system provides a number of details, such as temperature and memory volumes," the manufacturer explained. "A smart lock system facilitates the blocking of access in order to protect the valuable modules," it added.

As you can see for yourself in the adjacent photo, Level 10 offers separate protective cases for every individual component, allowing you to install/uninstall them easier than a traditional case.

Unfortunately, there are no other pictures available at this point. Since it's only in early development stages, there's no price as well and BMW DesignworksUSA did no mentioned whether it plans to mass-produce the case, at least as a limited-edition series, or keep it in concept form.
