BMW Rumored to Build Small-Displacement GS Bikes and More

BMW could be showing a new line-up of under-500cc bikes in the not-so-distant future, Visordown reports. This includes the possibility of small-displacement adventure bikes, too. Read GS!
The British bike magazine reports that BMW Motorrad's UK head of marketing Lee Nicholls kind of spilled the beans on the future models the Bavarian manufacturer will deliver over the next three years.

Such bikes are the result of BMW's "strategic realignment" move which led to selling Husqvarna earlier this year and announcing the end of the World Superbike operations. BMW tied up with Indian bike maker TVS and the smaller bikes were kind of expected.

The BMW-TVS machinery is targeted on Asian markets, but certain models will also be sold in European and North American markets.

Since we saw middleweight and small all-rounder bikes such as the KTM 390 Duke receiving a very warm welcome, it's only natural to expect a similar move from the new partners. Can't wait to hear more on this!
