BMW shows their all-new R1200R “DarkWhite” roadster, a special edition machine boasting a simple, yet eye-catching color scheme, backed by the legendary performance specs anyone expect from such a machine.
An iconic presence on the streets around the world, the R1200R shows that boxer engines can make exceptional power plants for sport bikes, too. With carefully chosen colors, BMW succeeds in creating a motorcycle which looks better than the stock one, however without exaggerating in any way, and leaving all its brutal character undented.
The BMW R1200R “DarkWhite” comes with a light, white front fender,fuel tank, taillight cover, headlight cover and fairings, adding a hefty dose of elegance to this sport machine.
With black drivetrain and wheels, and matte black swingarm, rear axle housing and telelever being an awesome complement to the asphalt grey frame, the BMW R1200R “DarkWhite” also displays sporty, spiral-spoked wheels, and a sport windscreen and seat for a consistent, compact and aggressive look.
On the tech side, the BMW R1200R “DarkWhite” is unchanged from the base model. The price in Germany is a perfect, round, €13,000 ($17,595), with the 1st of October being the market launch date.
