Just to remind you of what happened 70 years ago in Brescia, we’ll tell you that the 328 models managed to claim overall victory and team victory, as well as secure the third, fifth and sixth places.
Fast forward to 2010 and the German carmaker releases the bespoke Z4, which is dressed in a Polaris Metallic matte finish and features a M exterior package. The car uses a black front grille and rides on 19 inch wheels that use a Dark Chrome finish.
The interior has also received some mojo, getting a leather/Alcantara finish with red stitching and a M sports steering wheel that features the same red stitching. The vehicle also gets special badges for both its exterior and interior. Only 99 units of the car will be built.

It reflects not only the extraordinary technical expertise but also the passion with which BMW approaches its work," said Dr Klaus Draeger, member of the BMW Group Board of Management responsible for development, on the significance of the 1940 Mille Miglia.
In an additional effort to commemorate the historic victory, BMW also recreated a 328 Kamm Coupe, which will be entered in this year’s Mille Miglia event.
