This dashcam footage is the perfect example of how reckless and dangerous some car drivers can be. It's no secret that a lot of car drivers simply don't know that a motorcycle has the full right to use a lane, just like any other cars. Some know it but won't acknowledge this fact and still, they're as dangerous as the others.
Despite the rider inches away from being ran over by the very car which taped everything, the guy was ok. However, this crash could have ended in a fatality or severe injuries, and seeing the rider standing, even though unmistakeably shaken is a real miracle.
Hopefully this footage has led to the identification of the car rider and stood as proof for drastic legal consequences. It's somehow true that riding a bike may be sometimes dangerous, but ignorant and careless drivers add a tremendous amount of danger to the whole business.
