The pics apparently originate from a design patent and we may be looking at the 2014 year model of the GSA. Looking indeed much better than the base model the Adventure boats a huge fuel tank, possibly holding at least 33 liters (8.7 US gal), a whopping 1/3 of what the base model can carry and therefore potentially bringing the range to 500 km (310 miles) or so.

No-nonsense laced wheels replace the cast ones, and Dynamic ESA suspensions are also in place, but nobody can tell whether they will be part of the standard trim, whereas the Enduro ASC traction control mappings are expected to be offered in the basic package, just like the ABS.

We kind of like more the design of the front end, with cleaner lines for the intakes an no winglets of any sort. It also looks like the rack and similar fitments have also been changed, possibly to accommodate more types of panniers and touring luggage systems.

Engine and tank guards are in place and we also expect to see them as standard, given the price hike the Adventure bikes have always known over the base models. AMN also speculates a 30mm increase in height for the BMW R120)GS Adventure. Now that the beans have been king of spilled, we hope BMW Motorrad will be so kind as to release more official data on the upcoming GSA before Intermot or EICMA.
