BMW started the production o f their acclaimed R nineT anniversary bike, the last of a total of seven vehicles whose manufacturing started this year.
The BMW R nineT will be made in the Berlin factory and took BMW over two and a half years to develop, form the original concept and sketches to the finished motorcycle. At noon, the first three R nineT machines passed through the rigorous roller dynamometer test, when more than 1000 parameters are analyzed for compliance with the official specs.
21 employees make sure the R nineT is manufacturer according to the highest standards and the final product, a result of 14 assembly cycles and futher pre-assembly places, is 100% compliant with the 90-year heritage and acclaimed bike-making history BMW celebrates this year.
