Last week we told you that David Borras of El Solitario got his hands on a nifty BMW R nineT and he was working on an intriguing build for the equally intriguing and sizzling hot One Motorcycle Show in Portland, Oregon.
Well, he barely made it to the show, and not because the bike was not ready, but because of heavy snow fall in the Portland area. All in all, l Impostor made it in the exhibit room just before the grand opening, and we can bring you photos from the One Motorcycle Show.

If you're expecting a shiny, glamorous bike, then you don't know what El Solitario stands for. El Impostor is an uncanny build, balanced between pure industrial art and the experimental side of bike-building.

Still, El Impostor is a fully-rideable machine which delivers the same exhilarating experience just like the stock R nineT. In fact, the whole build is completely reversible, as David literally worked around the BMW, no hacking, sawing and welding involved.

With a larger front wheel and stainless steel wire streamlined "cage", a weathered, customized tank, painted frame and swingarm and a new early 20th century seat, El Impostor transcends the border of good and bad.

It is a bold milestone in bike customization, a motorcycle which makes you live the story instead of telling you the tale. Rat, retro and experimental, El Solitario Impostor is truly noble.
