Starting with April 1st, the biggest BMW Branch in Germany will change its manager. Peter Mey will take over, succeeding Michael Rahe, who has led the Munich branch for 5 years and is now retiring.
Aged 47, Mey started working for the BMW Group as a sales consultant at the Frankfurt-Rhein/Main branch in 1988. Since then he held various management positions in various BMW German plants and since October 2011 he ran the BMW branch in Nuremberg.

His predecessor, Michael Rahe led the BMW Munich branch since 2008 and gathered over 27 years of experience working for the BMW Group. After working for the sales department, he was named Head of Retail Marketing in Munich and a couple of years later, Sales Manager for new and second-hand cars in Darmstadt and Stuttgart.

"Under Michael Rohe, the biggest branch in Germany set new sales records every year. I look forward to continue where Michael left of and have a fruitful cooperation with the branch team in order to keep up the good work," said Peter May.
