The passion Indians have for movies is beyond comprehension. Back in the late 1950s the Indian movie industry exploded and Bombay even got a new nickname, Bollywood, wanting to rival the almighty Hollywood.
To this day, movie making is extremely popular in the Asian country and one of the most successful franchises in its history is Dhoom. The third part of the saga, Dhoom3: Back in Action, is about to be released and BMW Motorrad is proud to announce that it is the exclusive motorcycle partner of the action thriller.
Amongst the models you’re going to see in the movie (if you’re an indie fan) are the BMW S1000RR and the BMW K1300R that are involved in some pulse raising stunt scenes.
According to BMW, the bikes were introduced into the stunt scenes to prove just how easy they are to handle and the emotions they bring up.

That is why we are incredibly proud to be making our debut not just in an Indian film venture but in the biggest Bollywood blockbuster of the year – and with our BMW bikes playing such a high-profile role,” said Alexander Baraka, Head of Events, Exhibitions and Motorsport Marketing.
The movie will around in cinemas around the world on December 20 and features a couple of sensational chases with Jai Dixit (Abhishnek Bachchan) and his partner Ali (Uday Chopra) on BMW S1000RR superbikes against the villain played by Bollywood megastar Aamir Khan, going by the name of Sahir, on top of a BMW K1300R bike.
