BMW Motorrad and Dainese announce a long-term relationship for developing better motorcycle safety products, for both the racing and the street environment.
The starting point for the new range of motorcycle protective gear is the already proven Dainese D-Air Protect System, an airbag which is included in the the leathers manufactured by Dainese and which has been thoroughly tested during the last years with respectable positive results.

The first step is the launch of the DoubleR RaceAir one-piece leather suit incorporating D-Air technology and intended for racetrack use only. The DoubleR RaceAir will be showcased later this fall at EICMA in Milan, Italy, as tests are under way as we write in Munich, Germany.

The next move will be a Street System which will be a retrofit solution for existing BMW motorcycles, adding to BMW's Safety 360 principle embedding “safety tech in the vehicle, safety deriving form rider equipment and safety through rider training.”
