Puma has once again partnered up with auto manufacturers for their Autumn/Winter 2014 sportswear line. The A/W 2014 Motorsports Collections has Puma collaborating with three renowned motor brands - BMW, Mercedes and Ferrari - just in time to welcome this year’s Formula 1 Singapore Grand Prix.
It’s all about fashion nowadays, people. The times when you’d talk about a car just because you loved vehicles on wheels are over. Everything comes hand in hand nowadays. Bugatti does it with all the eccentric and strange clothing lines, Ferrari even builds chess sets and now we find BMW lining up. After all, petrol heads are still people who like to dress up whenever they take their beauties for a ride, right?
Among the newly released products, according to Men’s Folio the Puma A/W 2014 BMW Motorsport collection features BMW Motorsport stripes in red and blue colors applied on technical quilting and dynamic designs. Already on its second collection, the new BMW M takes inspiration from the BMW M1 Homage Concept and classic M1, with the distinctive orange of these cars integrated into its pieces.
As to Puma’s collaboration with Mercedes, the AMG Petronas Collection introduces a revamped footwear, apparel and accessories range, with highlights such as the new signature footwear styles for team drivers Lewis Nico.
Ferrari’s share of the deal comes with ever stylish and modern range inspired by a seasonal design section of Street versus Track. According to its creator, the products in this collection combine precise patterns, technical zoning and engineered aesthetics.
