This was a full week for BMW enthusiasts from the Middle East. The German company decided to unveil the most powerful Gran Coupe today just ahead of its appearance as Safety Car at the 2013 CommercialBank MotoGP which is taking place at Losail International Circuit until April 7.
Axel Mittler, Head of Cooperation MotoGP at BMW M GmbH, attended the launch as proof that the Middle Eastern market is more and more important for the German company and especially the M division.

Last year, the Motorsport Division registered a 61% sales increase. The best seller was, by far, the new M5, followed by the X5 M and X6 M. Overall, M performance vehicles accounted for 40% of the cars BMW sold in the area.

"The results achieved by BMW Group Middle East during 2012 were excellent. The region is important for BMW M GmbH because of its distinguished customers who have an appreciation and passion for high performance sports cars. This is a remarkable achievement and is the result of our fantastic M cars and efforts made by all our importers, including Alfardan Automobiles," said Mittler at the event.
