Last week we wrote an article about BMW's Sound Engineers, their work and how important it is. This time, we're looking into what's called Active Noise Control, a new feature for your M6 that's activated through your iDrive system.
The guys from EVOTV showed the world this phenomenal new feature (that will blow your mind) today, through their Youtube channel. The new system has 3 main functions: PINCH (Plausible Interior Noise Canceling Halo that cancels the sounds inside the cabin), PUNCH (Plausible "Outerior" Noise Canceling Halo, cancels all sounds from outside the cabin or changes the sound of your car to whatever you want) and Paddles (a program that allows you to change the sound the car makes when shifting gears).

According to Dr. Pull Yoleg, this is achievable due to the amazing new discoveries made in sound research. You can actually mute your car and no-one will notice you on the street unless they are looking straight at you. A perfect device if you want to prank someone.

Looking at these new features, you can only wonder what will they come up with next and wait for the official release on all BMW cars, on April 1st 2014.
