So you think that the Active Sound Design feature is the worst thing that ever happened to the M cars, right? You’re one of those guys that is forever offended whenever anyone mentions it and thinks that the BMW brand died once they agreed to implement it.
You’re also one of those guys that have never actually heard it work and you’ll probably have a really hard time noticing it at play in the new M3 and M4. That’s ok though, there are a lot of ignorant people out there that are tough in front of the keyboard but don’t actually know a thing about how real-life things work.
Even so, for those people like you that can actually afford an M4 but are worried that all these rumors about it sounding ‘artificial’ (started by ignorant people that never drove the car in the first place), there are solutions out there.
The most sought after will surely be Akrapovic. The Slovenian company is known to offer some of the best exhausts in the business and the M4 won’t be left out.
The guys from European Auto Source fitted an Akrapovic Evolution Titanium exhaust system on such a car along with some Evolution Racewerks Competition catless downpipes for a perfect sound and some HP and torque gains.
