Last year BMW’s driver Marco Wittmann managed to win the DTM Championship with two races to go. It was an incredible performance from the young driver that made the Bavarian company launch a special model in his honor.
The BMW M4 DTM Champion Edition was built in only 23 units in total, making it an extremely rare appearance on the road. As if that wasn’t enough, the guys from TVW Car Design decided it was worth modifying one just for fun.

Right now we should mention that the 23 cars built to celebrate Wittmann’s victorious streak were fitted with all carbon fiber trims inside the cabin, Alcantara covered steering wheels and Marco’s airbrushed autograph on the door sill.

M Performance Parts go all around, including the cabin, but they are especially noticeable on the outside, decorating the front bumper (via a new splitter), the kidney grilles (wearing orange surrounds), the side skirts, side mirror covers and the boot lid that now has a spoiler on it.

The color scheme on the outside resembles the one Marco used in the DTM, also known as the M4 DTM ICE Watch car. That includes a matte black bonnet along with colorful stripes all around it.

To top everything off, the number 23 (Wittmann’s number in the DTM) was painted on the doors along with the abbreviation he uses in races, ‘WIT’ and the “DTM Champion 2014” lettering on the rear windows.

The performance was kept stock as the S55 3-liter engine was not bothered with anything extra. That changed in the case of the TVW Car Design creation.

They added a new Akrapovic exhaust, new K&N intake along with a remapping of the ECU for a total of 517 HP and 700 Nm (516 lb-ft) of torque. Other changes include the KW Clubsport 2-way adjustable springs and 20” wheels from BBS.
