With sales o f [insert your favorite consumer thing here], deliveries must be able to keep up. Well, if all couriers are like the one we have here, that won't be a problem. On a more serious note, we're talking about an old Ford Transit that has joined the sleeper army, with its driver unsurprisingly deciding to take the thing to the drag strip.
To be more precise, the van recently hit the Santa Pod Raceway in the UK and it didn't take long before a sportscar driver lined up next to the big Ford.

We're talking about an E90 M3. You know, the V8-animated generation that felt a bit like a muscle car - as far as I know, this slice of Germany came to the battle in factory form.

And while I'm not aware of the Ford Transit's newfound tech side, those uber-fat Hoosier racing slicks at the back are quite something. Then there's the way in which the workhorse makes use of all that traction. As you'll get to notice in the piece of footage at the bottom of the page, which documents the battle between the two, the Transit delivered a delicious wheelie at the start of the race.

Nevertheless, the driver of the M3 seems to have fallen asleep at the starting line. Regardless of the reaction time, it looks like the aficionado didn't make the most out of the machine's 420 horsepower.

For the record, I'll remind you that the E90 BMW M3 can complete the quarter-mile challenge in the high-12s arena. However, I won't drop any more spoilers here, as I don't want to risk ruining the giggles delivered by the clip.

P.S.: While the sprinting battle between the BMW M3 and the Ford Transit can be found in the first part of the video below, the rest of the clip is also worthy of attention.
