German tuner Hartge launched a new aerodynamic kit for BMW3 that includes all kinds of accessories which improve both the performance and the appearance of this popular BMW model. The kit is compatible with all three M3 flavors, namely sedan, coupe and convertible.
The Hartge kit includes aluminum pedals, aluminum handbrake handle and a Hartge-customized gear knob. Speaking of exterior styling, the package consists of a new front spoiler lip plus a bunch of carbon accessories and side sills for both right and left rear. A rear diffuser and a lip for the boot lid exclusively available for sedan and coupe are also included in the package. Hartge carbon casings for exterior mirrors are compatible with all three versions.
The last-generation BMW M3 arrived in 2008 and came in three versions, sedan, coupe and convertible. All models are powered by a 4.0-liter V8 engine that produces 420 horsepower (309 kW) at 8300 rpm and a torque of 295 lb-ft at 3900 rpm. The sedan has a maximum speed of 155.3 mph (250 km/h) and accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.9 seconds. Speaking of fuel consumption, the sedan achieves 13.1 mpg (18 L/100Km) in city mode, 25.5 mpg (9.2 L/100Km) in highway mode and 18.9 mpg (12.4 L/100Km) in combined. Just like all the other M3 models, the car features a rear wheel drive system plus a manual six-speed transmission.
