This summer, to celebrate the success of the new M235i, BMW launched a special model in the Netherlands, dubbed the M235i Track Edition. The big thing about it was that it was decked with a rather interesting combination of parts.
As you probably already guessed, those parts were taken straight out of the M Performance catalogue. Therefore, the Track Edition model was nothing more than an M235i with the complete works on it.

All cars were fitted with the M Performance front splitter, side skirts, lip spoiler, gloss black kidney grilles up front, rear diffuser, the special exhaust system and 19 inch alloy wheels. That’s right, they are spectacular.

Inside, the Alcantara wrapped M Performance steering wheel takes care of business with a digital display on it that monitors performance, while other Alcantara bits along with carbon fiber trim and aluminum pedals make you feel special.

Unfortunately, it was only destined for the Dutch market and only 12 were ever built. The price? €83,000 since you ask, which is rather appropriate considering only the wheels cost €4,500 in Germany.

Under the bonnet nothing changed, the same uprated N55 engine being responsible for the performance, with its 326 HP and 450 Nm (332 lb-ft) of torque. The thing is, this particular model might not be the Track Edition model as the original uploader claims.

That's because even though it has all the other M Performance parts on it, the wheels are stock. Sure, the owner could've bought a second set to use when tracking the car but we can't be sure either way. What do you think? Is this a Track Edition M235i or not?
