BMW M235i Sounds Enticing, to Say the Least

As we’re getting closer to the first BMW M235i test drives, we’re more and more curious about every little aspect of the new Coupe. After all, this is the spiritual descendant of the BMW 2002, right?

The M235i was put to the test in Las Vegas this weekend, by a couple of journalists from around the world, invited by BMW to take part in their press launch. Of course, the guys couldn’t miss the opportunity to get the car’s 0-100 km/h (62 mph) sprint on video.

Whilst the launch control sequence and the sprint itself is quite impressive, I was impressed the most by the exhaust that has a really nice growl to it and fires up a few pops and crackles every time you get your foot off the throttle. What do you think about it? Is the new exhaust a win or is it still too quiet for the average BMW driver?
