The latest racing car from BMW offered to privateer teams around the world (and a bargain if you ask us) is the M235i Racing. Needless to say that it was based on the ‘normal’ M235i but this car was taken to a whole new level.
Unlike its more ‘decent’ brother, the Racing model features some interesting upgrades, meant to make it more competitive. The full list of changes includes:

- 3-liter turbocharged 6-cylinder engine making 333 HP and 450 Nm (332 lb-ft) of torque
- racing exhaust with racing catalytic converters
- steering wheel with shift paddles
- M Performance limited-slip differential
- Motorsport safety tank
- KW dampers
- H&R suspension springs, anti-roll bars front and back
- high performance braking system with 4 pots up front and 2 pots at the back
- 18x10 racing wheels
- roll cage
- 6-point racing harness from Schroth
- Recaro racing seats

This extreme version was just spotted in Germany, on public roads, even though we’re not sure it’s actually road-legal. It was wearing all the aforementioned parts and the wide aerodynamic body kit alongside a license plate stuck on with duct tape that almost ruined the whole package. Almost, as you’d have to work real hard to make this Coupe look anything but gorgeous. For those interested in owning one, the price tag is currently set at €59,500 (excluding VAT).
