This weekend, in Las Vegas, the BMW M235i Racing was finally launched, amid a large crowd of press members, enthusiasts and pro drivers. The new model is a cheap alternative for those looking to start their own private racing team.
The new car will be racing a lot on the Nurburgring-Nordschleife slowly becoming one of the icons of the famous track. In its development, the Green Hell was the place where it was tested, to make sure it will handle the twists and turns of the famous track.

One particular BMW driver played an important role in the development of the car. His name is Martin Tomczyk and took the time to answer a couple of questions related to the new racing car.

When asked about the car’s performance on the ‘Ring, Martin said that ‘it will be a joy to race on the ‘Green Hell’, especially for those starting out’. Hopefully, it’s not all BMW marketing.

The M235i Racing starts at EUR59,900 and brings a lot of performance to the table. Just to name a few: 328 HP and 450 Nm of torque, high-performance motorsport braking system, KW dampers and many, many more.
