The 2 Series was launched this year as a sort of response to Mercedes-Benz’s CLA-Class and, to some further extent, Audi’s A3 Sedan. While both of them aren’t exactly perfect competitors for the Bimmer, they do show similar sale figures.
When it comes to high-performance models, things are as evenly matched as possible. The all-out CLA45 AMG posts the best numbers thanks to its superior power and traction but also due to the involvement of the AMG division.

The other two hang behind, but only just slightly. The M235i comes in second while the S3 Sedan is dead last with a 0-62 mph sprint that takes 5.3 seconds with the manual gearbox which is the one to have, of course. Sure, it’s should also be mentioned that it’s the least powerful of the bunch.

Even so, if we’re to pick favorite, the Bimmer takes the cake when it comes to looks. With a fresh new front fascia and a revised rear, the 2er impressed us the most in this department, compared to its rivals.

For some people, though, that’s not enough. Some want even more out their rides and go for all sorts of upgrades. The easiest one to do is change the wheels. And, maybe, the stance, to go better with the new rims.

That’s what this owner did and got himself on our website, with the help of a beautiful set of photos as well. His Estoril Blue car got a set of BC Forged HB29 wheels with matte bronze faces and gloss black lips and barrel. We think they all fit together quite nicely, how about you?
