That’s right, folks, starting this July, the BMW M235i xDrive Coupe starts production and deliveries. That means we’ll get to enjoy the new car in less than 2 months and see exactly how the whole behavior changes.

Since BMW also revealed the prices for the limited slip-differential earlier this week, the launch of the all-wheel-drive M235i will get some people in a tight spot. That’s because they’ll have to choose between the two as they are compatible but don’t really make sense to have together.

Therefore, we recommend you either get the car with a better launch and time to 100 km/h (62 mph) or you get one that’s faster around corners. According to BMW with xDrive, the sprint advantage will be of 0.2 seconds. That means that the automatic model is a 4.6 second car, a simply amazing number for a car that starts just above the $40,000 price limit.

However, even though the RWD M235i we reviewed a while back starts at $43,100, we’re guessing that the xDrive version will add a $2,000 premium on the price. Even so, compared to its rivals, like the Porsche Cayman GTS, the Bimmer is still a bargain.
