"The BMW M2 is dead, long live the BMW M2 Competition!" - This seems to be a common idea among BMW M consumers these days. As you can imagine, with the compact sportscar having penetrated the market, the Bavarian toy has landed in the hands of aficionados who want to take it to the limit and beyond.
And one of those gear heads is a car collector known online as Powerslide Lover. As the man's nickname suggests, his favorite tool, beside the steering wheel, is anything that allows him to fully turn the stability control off.

The slip angle addict has recently gotten behind the wheel of the BMW M2 Competition, with the man doing what he knows best, which is drifting the hell out of the vehicle.

As you'll be able to notice in the piece of footage at the bottom of the page, the playground chose for the stunt was an urban one, with the machine being used to bake donuts in a small roundabout.

Of course, we are in no way endorsing such hooning on public roads, so please don't use this clip as an example and keep hooning for the track. In fact, the aficionado himself suspects there might be trouble - here's the message he associated with the sliding video: "Found the perfect city car... until they’ll arrest me,"

However, the M2 Competition isn't perfect. Sure, its M3/M4-borrowed twin-turbo 3.0-liter straight-six, which delivers 410 horsepower, has respectable pulling power. However, it seems that the performance coupe has understeer issues.

You see, the M2C showed such tendencies in a recent Sport Auto test held on the Nurburgring. And while lap times might be more or less relevant, the reaction of the editor behind the wheel speaks for itself.

Of course, this is the kind of matter that can be addressed with a bit of help from the aftermarket side of the industry, so there's no reason to fret.
