BMW has announced a slew of products it’s going to debut at this year’s Essen Motor Show, taking place this December.
The focus has been placed not on one-off concepts, but on the M Performance range and Original BMW Accessories lineup, which can make any 3-Series into an M3 lookalike.
The highlight of the show will be the debut of BMW’s M Performance Accessories line for the 3-Series Touring. The car on show will be a 320d Touring, but you’d be forgiven for thinking it’s an M3 wagon, since it’s been kittled out all the consmetic goodies.
They’ve fitted the 3-Series Touring with 20-inch wheels, double sports exhaust, an aero package and a number of interior changes to the steering, pedals, shifter and trim.
An M Power Kit installed to the 2.0-liter turbo means it makes 200 PS instead of the stock 184 PS.
Also on show in Essen will be the M3 DTM car that won the 2012 championship, a 125i, an M3 coupe and a 535i sedan.
