BMW June Sales Up 25% in the US

What started out as a record-breaking year, continues in the same way. Over the first half of 2013, BMW sales kept on rising to unparalleled levels. June sales registered yet another record, registering a 24.6 percent increase.
The total number of BMW and MINI vehicles sold in the US in the previous month reached 33,645 units, a 21.4 percent increase from the same month of 2012. Furthermore, year-to-date, the BMW Group is up 9 percent compared to the same period of the previous year.

As far as BMW brand cars go, the sales reached a total of 27,074 units in June, nearly 6,000 more than in the same month of 2012. Year-to-date, the BMW brand sales grew by 11 percent, adding up to 140,431 units compared to 126,504.

The best selling models, as usual, were the 3 Series (up by 62.6 percent), the 6 Series range (up 119.5% to 1,409 units), the F01 7 Series (up 58.6 percent) and the X3 Sports Activity Vehicle that added up to 2,981 units sold.
