Out of the 100 units, only five will reach the U.S. market, and all are available only as the M760i xDrive V12 Excellence Next 100 Years.

Meanwhile, the other 95 vehicles accessible worldwide to celebrate the 100-year anniversary of BMW will be open to order with two other engines, the 4.4-liter V8 unit and the hybrid version of the 7 Series.

BMW will allow customers to buy the centennial version of the 7 Series by the end of this year. Pricing is unspecified, but we expect the new model to surpass the listed price of its range equivalents, as it comes with many extras and a level of prestige.

The new version comes with an exclusive shade of blue, and a set of 20-inch forged alloy rims. Naturally, BMW has placed several badges on the vehicle to show it is a special edition model, and the ones on the B-pillars have manual engraving.

The corresponding elements on the seats and headrests are also done by hand. On the interior, each example is marked on the center console.

Also inside this limited edition model, BMW has used fine-grain Merino leather for the upholstery. The German company went for a classic black and white combination, where “Smoke White” is the central shade, while black accents provide a bit of contrast.

The surfaces covered in leather have received a unique quilted finish wherever possible, while the woodwork has an excellent grain, pleasant to the touch. The headliner, floor covering, floor mats, safety belt ornaments, and other miscellaneous elements come in “Smoke White.”

Included with the purchase of this model is a hand-finished fountain pen from Montblanc, which has a color and design aligned with this version of the 7 Series. The famous accessory maker will only provide this pen, the Meisterstück Skeleton, with the 7 Series, so only 100 limited-edition fountain pens will be made.
