Since BMW picked the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show as the perfect spot to unveil their new i8, the best journalists in the world were there to greet the hybrid sports car into the automotive world.
One of them as Auto Express' Mat Watson, the charismatic guy that tests all new BMWs at AE and CarBuyer. He was the lucky one that got to stand really close to the Bimmer and present it to the world.
As you may very well know, the i8 has 362 HP and 570 Nm of torque at its disposal from an electric 131 HP unit positioned at the front and a 1.5-liter 3-cylinder turbocharged unit at the back that develops the rest of 231 HP.
The fuel consumption is rated at 2.5 l/100 km (94 mpg US or 113 Imp.) and the car reaches 100 km/h (62 mph) in 4.4 seconds. We'll leave Mat to tell you the rest.
