BMW i8 Concept Plugs Mission: Impossible Trailer

It’s usually automakers that want their cars to be highlighted in blockbuster movies, but the new BMW i8 that we just saw in Frankfurt for the first time is so cool that it plugs the movies it’s in.
As you probably know by now, the next Mission: Impossible movie heavily features BMW’s concept as the wheels of choice for Tom Cruise. Ghost Protocol will hit cinemas in December and we’ll be sure to check out the BMW of 2014 for you.

As a reminder, we’ll tell you that the BMW i8 Concept goes from 0 to 100 km/h in under five seconds and boasts fuel consumption of under 3-liters per 100 km. Its plug-in hybrid drive with a system output of 260 kW allows a range of up to 35 kilometers in electric mode – sufficient for most everyday journeys.
