Besides the awesome ad inspired by Arthur C. Clarke we showed you yesterday, there's another excellent BMW commercial for the i8 plug-in hybrid sportscar being show on television right now.
It's about people describing what they experienced when they first saw the futuristic automobiles and is appropriately named "Sightings". It's a great idea, but we have a small problem with it. Renault pulled off a similar ad, back in 2012 if I'm not mistaken. It was for the Clio and it's at least as good if not better.
"It is a rare and exciting opportunity to launch a new brand and for BMW i, one that requires a world stage," said Trudy Hardy, vp of marketing for BMW of North America. "We look forward to making a bold statement about the future of sustainable mobility."
