Now that the i3 is ready to go on sale, it's time to take a look at exactly what does USD41,350 worth of electric vehicle bring to you. Well, plenty if you ask us.
As you probably already know, BMW i3's trim levels have some funky, IT-ish names, mostly used by guys that are used to writing code every day. The base level i3, thus the cheapest, is called Mega World and includes:
  • Standard 19-inch wheels
  • Navigation
  • BMW ConnectedDrive
  • 7.4-kW on-board charger
  • LED headlights, taillights, and daytime running lights
  • “Sensatec” and sustainable cloth interior trimmings
  • Leather-trimmed steering wheel
The next level model is the i3 Giga World and it will bring you all the above plus a new model of 19" wheels, leather and wool cloth interior, new stitching for the steering wheel an universal garage-door opener, keyless access, sunroof and satellite radio.

The top of the food-chain is the Terra World. This one will also get you new wheels, full leather interior, new textile accents and anthracite floor mats on top of everything listed above.

Of course, as usual, a plethora of additional optional features will also be available alongside new packages meant to get you better deals.
