After seeing how the new F32 4 Series Coupe will look like in detail, it's time to take a look at BMW's upcoming all-electric city-car, the i3, probably the most anticipated car in the automotive industry at the moment.
However, unlike the 4er, the i3 wasn't accidentally revealed at a photo shoot without camouflage so we didn't know exactly how it's headlights or taillights will look like until today.

The guys from jokeforblog had a busy week. Their photos seem to indicate exactly how the new i3's lights will look like. The headlights seem to digress from the corona rings we've seen on most recent BMWs so far.

The i3 will have a completely different design at the front for both the halogen lights and the LED ones. However, they still remain within the BMW trademark limits, with a similar outlining around the beam, looking more like "half of a corona ring".

The taillights have a different story behind them. They will follow in the recent BMW trend of using LED lid blades, as you've seen on the F15 X5, the F10 5 Series and many other recent models.

Fortunately for us, both the headlights and the taillights seem to be strikingly similar to the ones found on the Concept cars and that is sweet music to our ears. The official unveiling of the i3 should take place in Frankfurt this autumn so we'll just keep our fingers crossed until then.
